Burgeoning Consumer Culture

this is what the paper is about: The 1920s are routinely characterized as the “roaring ’20s.”  Often portrayed as a period of post-war exuberance, liberation for many including women, as well as burgeoning consumer culture, the 1920’s can also be examined for the beginnings of what would become the Great Depression of the 1930s.  In a well-argued 2 page paper, explain the contrasts of the 1920s.  Who were the 1920s good for?  Who did the 1920’s leave behind?  Also examine how the decade laid the groundwork for the economic collapse of the 1930s.  In your view, what does a full examination of the 20’s reveal to us?   We use the book Give me liberty vol 2 this is requirements Students will be required to write two short papers. Each paper will be two pages in length, typed, double spaced, in 12 pt font, in Times New Roman, with one-inch margins on all sides. These are formal essays. Students are expected to state an argument, marshal evidence, write with precision, and demonstrate facility with the relevant concepts and terms. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes will detract from the final grade. Papers are due on the Friday of week listed. Late papers will be marked down at the instructor’s discretion.
