False Memories

Deliverable #1: Write a discussion post answering the following questions. The length should be about 2 pages, single-spaced, and you should reference the attached PowerPoint slides and readings from Chapters 8 and 9 of the attached textbook. Why are we so vulnerable to false memories? What is the best way to handle this in cases of suspected abuse or legal cases surrounding an incident that is recalled differently by different people (e.g., involving eyewitnesses for auto accidents)? If you were immigrating to a new country and wanted your child to have the best chance of being fluent in both their native tongue and the language of the new country, when would you move (i.e., what age would your child be when you moved to a new country?)? Why? What are the pros and cons of intelligence testing? If you had to choose, which model of intelligence is most compelling to you, and why?
