Prompt In the U.S., government intervention in the economy often takes place at the federal and state levels. However, it can take place at the local level, too. Municipal governments can make decisions that help shape the economy of their city, town, or county. For this assignment, you will create and present at least an 8-slide PowerPoint presentation about a local government policy on spending. In your presentation, describe the policy and discuss whether you think the policy is good or bad for the local economy. Why do you think it’s beneficial or problematic? What would you change about it, and why? Explain how the free market of the local economy might change depending on the level of involvement of the government. Assignment Expectations:   The PowerPoint presentation must be at least eight slides long. Remember to include the two references on a final slide at the end. The References slide does not count as one of the eight required slides. Make sure to submit the final draft of your slides with the final video.   MOV files will not be accepted for this assignment, as they have unusually large file sizes and Canvas times out when trying to upload them.
