Importance of an Artifact

Directions:This is a two part project. The first part is about learning the P.O.W.E.R. writing strategy. This assignment is about writing an informative paper (giving information) and using the writing strategy process to complete the project.  Students must go to the Appleton Museum and pick out an artifact to discuss and research for the assignment. The second part of this project is taking the information that was learned about the writing process and applying the information the writing process. Student will research the artifact or art piece they have chosen to inform the audience of the importance of the piece.
