Instructions: You have spent the past number of weeks reading various informational and instructional articles.  Now is your chance to write an informational/instructional article on a subject on which you are an expert.   Write a multi-paragraph informational/instructional article that will guide the reader to learn what you know about a topic of your interest.  Subjects can range from the personal to the practical, to technical.  The key for this assignment is that you pass on information from your own expertise and experience.  (I don’t want you to merely retransmit the information from a book or website!)  You can include diagrams, photos or illustrations if they will help your reader to understand what you are teaching. How to keep your cool when visiting your in-laws. How to do special, textural finishes on a painted wall. How to change a tire without a car jack. How to bond with an adopted, adult dog. How to prepare your cottage for the winter. How to clip your poodle. How to tell your child about the ‘birds and the bees’ How to buy and plant the right tree for your property. How to change your car’s oil. How to keep your kids from being victims of a bully. How to decrease your running time on a 10K race. How to make wine in two months or less. Be creative!  The possibilities are endless!
